biography

I'm currently a Senior Lecturer in Drama at The University of Huddersfield.  My research interests are officially listed as;  but that doesn't really cover all the areas I'm interested in.  Some of these areas are probably not mentioned on this website, so, for want of a better biography, here's a summary:

Design work includes;

Dulouz Theatre Company - Performer - including two Edinburgh Fringe shows.
Mythos Theatre Company - Performer, writer, director - chosen to open the Discurs’96 festival in Giessen, Germany
Performance City - Designer - a digital exchange for performance ideas a collaboration with Roland Miller
Corridor Theatre Company - Chairperson, director - productions include, Phaedra’s Love and The Journey Project.
Nik is also a founding committee member for the Festival of Contemporary European Plays and co-directed the headline performances at FestCEP’02.
